Spirit of Hula: Mana o Hula

Enjoyed throughout the world for its beauty, its poetry, and prayer in motion, the Hula traces its ancient roots to the beginning of time. Hula is the highest form of artistic and spiritual expression in Hawai‘i. Spirit of Hula is an invitation to walk between worlds and dance the splendor of the sacred Hula together as ‘ohana, as family. Illustrations, prose, ‘olelo and photos combine to capture the essence of the many faces and facets of Hawai‘i’s national dance. Part of the proceeds from royalties of Spirit of Hula, Mana O Hula will benefit Halau Kaleihulumamo, ‘Iolani Luahine’s dream of a Halau and resource center for the adults and children of Hawai’i.
