Daniel Levey was an outdoors enthusiast who loved the ocean. Tragically, he fell to an untimely death on July 25, 2003, while on the Konahuanui Trail on the island of O‘ahu. His nineteen years, while short in span, were filled with energy and curiosity. Daniel was fascinated by both the insights on life that could be expressed with words, and the ocean and shoreline sights that words cannot express.
